In 2011, I decided to see just how stupidly brilliant the internet could be. At the height of planking popularity I create my own internet fad. The only difference was that people had been doing mine for years. Standing, we just renamed and rebranded it Pillaring. The idiocy spread like wild fire amassing 3000 fans on facebook in two days.
Pillaring earned national exposure via national press media, radio and digital media. Without any media spend it went on to promote the further fad of hypotenusing where you combine a plank a pillar and a 3rd person.
